BlueCap drone magnetic survey
Terrain-following acquisition and suspended-sensor clearance for magnetic data programs.
Service details
BlueCap Survey Operations Portal
Define the Project, calculate the complete flown route, simulate terrain and suspended-sensor physics, build a transparent live Quote, support field acquisition and deliver approved results in one traceable workspace.
BlueCap Portal connects Clients, authorised geophysicist Agents, Pilots and BlueCap staff through controlled Project Context.

One Project · six connected stages
The horizontal route is calculated once on the Map, enriched by terrain and vehicle physics in 3D, and reused by the Quote, Pilot workflow and delivery record.
Set Client ownership, Agent lead, service, schedule, timezone and practical site support.
Draw or import the Survey Area, place Start / Landing, map power-line corridors and calculate balanced aircraft SORTIEs.
Use cached terrain from up to seven provider sources, or a high-resolution client or BlueCap LiDAR DEM/DTM, then solve vehicle dynamics, clearance and suspended-load physics.
Calculate flying days, team, equipment, fuel, travel, markup, GST and approval history through the backend.
During each drone flight, watch the live route, FPV camera, telemetry and magnetic or LiDAR acquisition previews in real time.
BlueCap post-processors and Client geophysicists automate server-side big-data processing together and review the evolving result in real time.
Client-ready Project Quote
A client does not receive an unexplained spreadsheet. BlueCap turns the current 2D route, terrain-aware 3D simulation and commercial calculation into a live Quote and a polished, print-ready document with the context needed to make a decision.
Once the required Project inputs are ready, the complete proposal can be prepared in about 10 minutes instead of coordinating maps, flight plans, cost sheets and Pilot material for weeks. The live Quote and printable document stay connected to the same backend calculation, so an accepted Project change updates the commercial story without rebuilding it by hand.

Agent / geophysicist access
An Agent is the authorised geophysicist or project specialist who brings their own clients. BlueCap works with the Agent in the selected Context rather than bypassing that relationship. The Agent can create and manage independent Projects for multiple assigned clients while keeping access, Quotes and discussions separated.
Advanced trajectory intelligence
BlueCap first builds the canonical complete-route plan in 2D, including every survey leg, radius turn, transit, return and SORTIE boundary. The 3D simulation preserves that horizontal route and adds terrain, aircraft dynamics, speed commands, mapped power-line corridors and suspended-sensor pendulum behaviour.
Time, distance and fuel are validated against field results. The simulation integrates survey legs, radius turns, vertical manoeuvres and returns. BlueCap comparisons with recorded operations remain within a planning tolerance of up to 5%.
A planning and Quote package that could previously take up to two weeks of manual work can be produced in about 10 minutes once required Project inputs are available. The selected SORTIE can then be exported and loaded through Mission Planner to the flight controller in about one minute.

The Flight workspace connects live aircraft position, route progress, FPV camera, speed, heading, aircraft ASL/AGL, sensor clearance and suspended-load state. Acquisition views support magnetic and LiDAR preview context. In Deliveries, BlueCap post-processors and Client geophysicists replace disconnected legacy interpretation tools with shared server-side big-data processing, live evolving results, QA/QC evidence and traceable approved datasets.
